Hybrid Sales Lead

Tom has worked at Fresenius Medical Care for 5 years and his initial role as a product manager implemented his marketing skills, organically expanding from a managerial role to further incorporate product forecasting for the overall business. His new sales focused role amalgamates both these skills; marketing and sales, which Tom is learning to harness on the job, whilst also working alongside business unit managers.

The Amazing Journey of Tom Spencer

Tom stepped into a position that was entirely new, pioneering this role by being responsible for an omnichannel sales approach which helps the sales team look at various ways to approach customers who are interested in Fresenius Medical Care products.  Alongside developing this totally new job, Tom was also dual rolling with his previous Product Manager role, until this position was filled. Tom speaks fondly of his career at Fresenius Medical Care, explaining why he has, and continues to have, such a successful and positive 5 years with us. This is largely due to the autonomy he is given at work and the thriving company culture that champions career development, which made him feel empowered to shape his profession in the way that he wanted to. Alongside this, Tom feels passionately about working for a company whose products ultimately save lives.
